March 21
— UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - Iraqi U.N. Ambassador Mohammed
Aldouri on Friday accused U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan of
helping the United States attack his country by offering to take
over the oil-for-food program and by withdrawing peacekeepers from
Kuwait.
Aldouri said Annan was doing the bidding of the United States and
Britain in violation of the U.N. Charter by withdrawing
international staff and suggesting alternative ways to get
humanitarian relief to Iraqis through the use of oil revenues.
